Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

Arup is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its MEP team in Singapore. The role will lead the electrical services design on a variety of projects, ensuring technical excellence and successful delivery while contributing to the growth of the MEP business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead concept and detailed electrical design, producing calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Conduct technical reviews of MEP projects at key stages to verify compliance with design intent.
• Coordinate design activities and maintain up‑to‑date technical standards, reference material and software tools.
• Support capability building of the electrical team in line with the Group business plan.
• Develop and nurture relationships with clients, consultants, government agencies and contractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering from a university recognised by the Singapore PEB.
• At least 10 years of electrical design experience within an engineering consultancy.
• Proven track record delivering complex electrical services projects on time and within budget.
• Singapore Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer registration.
• Ability to work under pressure, motivate teams and meet tight deadlines.
