Senior Engineer – Industrial Engineering & Planning

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to lead industrial engineering and planning initiatives within a semiconductor wafer fab environment. You will drive cost‑saving projects, support capacity planning and ensure alignment with corporate business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and manage cross‑functional cost‑saving projects, presenting results to Fab GM and senior management.
• Define cost estimation scope, document assumptions, develop costing methodologies and align stakeholders.
• Develop and implement cost recording, reporting and analysis standards; monitor performance and control functions.
• Facilitate program scope definition, goals, deliverables, timelines and resource requirements with sponsors.
• Coordinate with project management to resolve issues, track milestones and ensure timely delivery.
• Provide cost control and planning advice to operations, identify roadblocks and execute resolution plans.
• Assist in financial close‑out of cost‑saving projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing with exposure to wafer fab operations.
• Proven experience in capacity planning, cycle‑time management, WIP control and productivity optimization.
• Strong knowledge of IE methodologies such as line balancing, bottleneck management and cost modelling.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, high accountability and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
