About the role
The Senior Executive will support the administration of research grants and related initiatives within the university's Research Support Office. The role involves coordinating grant calls, assisting faculty with submissions and post‑award activities, and ensuring compliance with funding agency requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate grant calls with colleges and schools and manage communications with stakeholders.
- Support researchers and faculty in grant submissions, post‑award activities, and understanding funding agency guidelines.
- Facilitate reporting, compliance, and tracking of submissions and obligations.
- Maintain records, administrative databases, and trackers for research funding schemes.
- Organise review processes, panel meetings, and grant‑related events.
- Prepare meeting materials, reports and presentations, and contribute to ad‑hoc projects and process improvements.
