About the role
Citi Equities Technology is looking for a senior‑level Front‑End Developer to join its Equities Technology team in Singapore. The role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, supporting front‑office and product development teams to deliver high‑performance web applications.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript, ensuring clean, maintainable code.
- Manage application state with Redux and Redux Toolkit, and integrate middleware as needed.
- Write unit tests with Vitest (and Jest) to achieve high test coverage.
- Create and maintain a library of reusable UI components for multiple feature apps.
- Contribute to overall front‑end architecture, design patterns and best practices.
- Perform code reviews and champion quality, maintainability and testability.
- Plan and schedule own work, delivering functionality independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Required profile
- 8‑10 years of professional experience with React, Redux, WebSockets and modern web technologies.
- Strong analytical and technical abilities, with the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Based in Singapore and able to work onsite.
