Senior Informatics Pharmacist – Hospital Pharmacy

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Informatics Pharmacist to join the NUH Pharmacy team. The role supports both legacy and new pharmacy systems, drives digital transformation initiatives and works closely with clinical, operational and technical stakeholders across hospital, cluster and national programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Support adoption, configuration and maintenance of new and national pharmacy systems, providing on‑site user support during implementation.
• Perform system configuration, parameter setup and interoperability design for medication automation and information systems.
• Develop and execute system testing plans, audit data entered by end users and generate analytical reports.
• Review national and hospital policies, ensuring system revisions align with updated procedures.
• Participate in workflow discussions, help develop training curricula and deliver end‑user training.
• Build and configure clinical decision support, medication content and downstream system translations.
• Troubleshoot legacy pharmacy systems, manage tickets, and provide out‑of‑hours support when rostered.
• Represent the pharmacy department in hospital, cluster or national programmes and contribute to enterprise risk management efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an SPC‑recognised institution.
• Registered Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant healthcare operations or clinical experience.
• Post‑graduate training in healthcare informatics, computer science, business or a related field is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Competency in Microsoft SQL.
• Experience with healthcare informatics applications and tools (e.g., ALPS, NHIPS).
• Ability to configure, test and optimise pharmacy information systems.
