Senior Network Administrator

About the role

Skyworks is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to join its fast‑paced, globally‑collaborative technology team. You will be responsible for maintaining Windows server and client environments, managing network infrastructure, and supporting critical infrastructure hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server 2012 and newer versions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laptops and desktops running Windows 7 and above.
• Configure and stack Cisco switches, set up VLANs, and resolve client network issues.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure hardware such as servers, network equipment, and UPS systems.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute product installations, upgrades, patches, and hot‑fixes.
• Create and maintain documentation for managed systems and operations.
• Perform server housekeeping tasks, including use of ROBOCOPY tools.
• Support Office365 and Microsoft Teams deployments.
• Document all installation activities and update the Infrastructure team lead on progress.
• Implement changes through the Change Management process, ensuring impact analysis, contingency, and test plans.
• Identify, isolate, resolve, and close incident/problem tickets following ITSM processes.
• Collaborate with hardware and software vendors to resolve issues and adopt new technologies.
• Conduct daily system health checks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in IT network, desktop, and server support.
• Proficiency in office network, Windows server, and user support roles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Analytical, meticulous, and capable of independent multi‑tasking.
• Positive attitude, good interpersonal skills, and team orientation.
