Senior Operations Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and results‑driven Senior Operations Supervisor to lead site operations for our Underground Utilities Infrastructure business in Singapore. The role acts as the primary bridge between field teams, project management, and clients, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑work site surveys to verify conditions and confirm project start dates.
• Direct multiple site teams in water service works, pipe laying, and emergency repairs across Singapore.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with approved method statements, project specifications, and statutory standards.
• Serve as the on‑site point of contact for public relations, handling notices and resolving complaints.
• Collaborate with the Project Team to optimise scheduling, equipment allocation, and manpower deployment.
• Monitor departmental budgets, implement cost‑control measures, and prepare progress documentation and reports.
• Track, analyse, and report operational metrics to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising large‑scale underground utility or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and a track record of maintaining a zero‑harm safety culture.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop field personnel.
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder and public interaction.
• Ability to travel between multiple project sites and attend daily toolbox meetings at 7:00 AM.
