Senior Planner, Global Materials Planning

About the role

The Senior Planner, Global Materials Planning, leads strategic planning for all direct‑source materials across the apparel and equipment portfolio. You will drive long‑term multi‑horizon plans, seasonal execution, forecast publication and material pre‑positioning to ensure product availability worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Execute strategic planning activities from long‑term multi‑horizon plans to seasonal execution, including forecast publication and material pre‑positioning.
• Develop raw‑material sourcing strategies, supplier capacity plans and seasonal supply plans.
• Assess capacity needs, mitigate risks, and address demand shifts, capacity constraints and forecast variances.
• Track monthly consumption, leftover collection and validation; report at season end or on request.
• Collaborate with brand stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to utilize leftovers and minimize business impact.
• Design and maintain a full‑scope tracking and reporting model covering forecast, stock checks and demand analysis.
• Support procurement, price review and other downstream decisions with fact‑based data.
• Lead process‑efficiency initiatives, system upgrades and advanced‑tool adoption to align platforms across regions.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in strategic materials planning or supply‑chain planning.
• Strong analytical capabilities and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Excellent communication skills to influence business conversations.
