Senior Project Manager

About the role

RED, an international M&E consultancy, is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its Singapore office. You will lead large‑scale engineering projects, especially data centre developments, and act as the primary client‑facing liaison throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development, design and coordination of engineering services for data centre and commercial projects.
• Manage project budgets, cost‑profit analysis, feasibility studies and fee proposals to meet target margins.
• Oversee construction, installation and testing phases, ensuring compliance with functional specifications and client requirements.
• Develop and maintain long‑term client relationships and drive business development activities.
• Mentor junior PMO members and contribute to digitalisation and process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• BSc/BEng in an engineering discipline (or equivalent experience) and membership of a relevant institute.
• Chartered Engineer (ENG) or PEPC status with significant specification design experience across multiple building types.
• Proven experience managing complex projects, preferably with data centre or commercial sector exposure.

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
• Strong knowledge of BS standards, UK regulations and codes.
• Understanding of health and safety legislation and contract/business law.
• Experience with invoicing, credit control and spreadsheet‑based calculations.
