Senior Sales Executive (Japanese speaking) – Marine HVAC

About the role

Our client, a Japanese manufacturer in the maritime sector, is seeking a Japanese‑speaking Senior Sales Executive to drive marine HVAC sales in Singapore and the wider region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand business opportunities with ship owners, ship management companies, shipbuilders and contractors.
• Promote adoption of marine HVAC and related products for new vessel construction, especially in overseas shipyards.
• Conduct sales activities, cold calls, client visits and product presentations to achieve revenue targets.
• Manage after‑sales services, including repairs, retrofits, maintenance support and client follow‑up.
• Drive equipment sales for both marine and on‑shore products through contractors and partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, ship brokers and other industry players.
• Prepare quotations, invoices and coordinate project execution with clients and distributors.
• Monitor sales pipelines, update forecasts and provide market feedback to management.

Required profile

• 2‑3+ years of sales experience in the maritime, HVAC or chiller industries.
• Strong understanding of the maritime industry landscape.
• Fluent in Japanese; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Japanese corporate culture with high integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently, plan activities and align with company policies.
• Excellent communication and client‑service skills.
