Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Singtel is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain enterprise‑grade, highly scalable software solutions. You will work on microservices and APIs that support the company’s 5G, cloud, analytics and digital commerce initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices and APIs using Java, Python and related frameworks.
• Automate testing across unit, integration, UI and end‑to‑end layers.
• Collaborate with QA, operations and other internal teams to validate, document and resolve defects and enhancements.
• Participate in gathering functional requirements, creating technical specifications and project planning.
• Review code and design outputs, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new technologies where appropriate.

Required profile

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of software development experience in an agile or DevOps environment.
• At least 3 years of experience building microservices with Java, Python, Apache Camel, Spring Boot or similar technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
