Site Operations Trainee (6‑month program)

About the role

Join foodpanda’s operations team as a Site Operations Trainee for a six‑month program. You will support the daily running of our warehouses, ensuring facilities are well‑maintained and compliant with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, maintenance, and facility upkeep.
• Manage annual electrical licensing and renewal of other required permits.
• Source contractors, obtain quotations, and review maintenance contracts.
• Handle renovation projects and A&A works; SFA licensing experience is a plus.
• Drive warehouse performance to meet agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Recommend and implement operational improvements.
• Manage Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) procedures, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate periodic facility maintenance and report issues to the Realty Facility Manager.
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping and overall workplace safety.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or certificate in facility management or related field.
• Fire safety manager and Workplace Health Safety certificates are advantageous.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with safety, health, and environmental regulations in real‑estate/property management.
