About the role
Our client, a leading FinTech firm, is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer / Linux Platform Engineer to manage a low‑latency Linux estate. The position blends Linux systems engineering with SRE practices, focusing on automated, scalable deployments across private and public clouds.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build and support automated deployment solutions.
- Maintain and optimise low‑latency Linux infrastructure.
- Work on both project‑based initiatives and day‑to‑day operational tasks.
- Drive automation across the platform to improve reliability and efficiency.
Required profile
- Strong background in Linux systems engineering.
- Experience with configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet or Ansible).
- Proficiency in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker or Podman) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid programming/scripting skills in Python.
