Software Consultant – Senior Executive

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Software Consultant to collaborate with clients and internal teams in Singapore. The role involves understanding business requirements, recommending technology solutions, and supporting the full software lifecycle from design to optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements.
• Analyze existing applications, systems, and processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Recommend suitable software solutions, architectures, and implementation approaches.
• Participate in design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and support activities.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, project managers, and business analysts.
• Support system integration with databases, APIs, and third‑party platforms.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective resolutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and project reports.
• Conduct client workshops, demonstrations, and knowledge‑transfer sessions.
• Assist with software implementation, migration, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Ensure solutions meet quality, security, and timeline requirements and provide post‑implementation support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development, consulting, or application implementation.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Java, Python, C#, JavaScript programming languages.
• SQL and relational database knowledge.
• APIs and system integration experience.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud (preferred).
• Software architecture and application design concepts.
• Agile development practices and SDLC expertise.
