Staff Workplace Platform Engineer

About the role

Digital devices are the most visible touchpoint employees have with technology. As a Staff Workplace Platform Engineer you will shape the digital workplace, driving innovation and excellence in endpoint experience across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and own the architecture of digital workplace platforms (software, hardware, SaaS, APIs) to deliver seamless, scalable, and resilient solutions.
• Define and drive the strategic roadmap for the platform domain, aligning evolution with business priorities and emerging technology trends.
• Design and implement new platform capabilities using modular architecture, IaC, automation frameworks, and secure‑by‑design principles.
• Lead adoption of SRE best practices, including observability, SLIs/SLOs, and proactive incident management.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally, mentor peers, and drive modernization initiatives to support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in platform, systems, or end‑user device engineering.
• Strong proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python) and experience with IaC and DevOps/SRE methodologies.
• Experience with endpoint management platforms and identity and access management (SSO, MFA).
• Background in observability, monitoring, performance tuning, and complex system debugging.
• Proven leadership qualities with a strong architectural mindset.
