Software Engineer II – Business Mobile App (Google Pay)

About the role

Google Pay is expanding its Business Mobile App portfolio and is looking for a Software Engineer II to help build and enhance user‑facing features. The role involves developing new capabilities, integrating AI tools, and collaborating across product, design, and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Write product and system code in Flutter/Dart for the GPay for Business applications.
• Review peer code, ensuring adherence to style guidelines, testability, and efficiency.
• Design and integrate server‑side APIs as part of full‑stack development.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to define and implement user‑facing features.
• Leverage generative AI and LLM interfaces to accelerate development workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1 year of software development experience in languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience integrating generative AI or LLM tools into workflows.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, experience with Flutter/Dart or Java, and a passion for user‑facing product excellence.
