Software Engineer (Space)

About the role

The Software Engineer will design and implement full‑stack features for Transcelestial’s satellite payloads and space systems. This includes building APIs, management tools and user‑facing interfaces, as well as supporting the maintenance, integration testing and deployment of space‑related software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new software features and fix bugs across the front‑end and back‑end of satellite payload applications.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs that enable communication between ground stations and space assets.
• Build user‑interface components for internal tools used by the Space Team.
• Collaborate with hardware and control engineers to integrate software with satellite subsystems.
• Perform integration tests, validate functionality and support deployment to orbiting platforms.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous‑integration pipelines.

Required profile

• Singapore citizen or permanent resident.
• 1–2 years of professional full‑stack development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, especially under time‑critical conditions.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to go above and beyond to meet project goals.
• Ability to assess engineering trade‑offs and manage risk.

Required skills
