Solutions Architect

About the role

Thought Machine is looking for a Solutions Architect to help banks modernise their core banking and payments systems using the Vault platform. You will work across pre‑sales and delivery engagements, providing expert advice on deployment, configuration, integration and migration.

Key responsibilities

• Present Vault architecture and best practices to senior client stakeholders during pre‑sales and delivery engagements.
• Collaborate with banks to define target architectures, transition states and migration strategies for Vault implementations.
• Design end‑to‑end core banking replacement solutions using the Vault product suite.
• Leverage AI agents to accelerate architectural deliverables and enable client reuse of assets.
• Maintain deep, up‑to‑date knowledge of the Vault platform, roadmap and non‑functional requirements.
• Act as an independent consultant, engaging directly with clients without continuous team support.

Required profile

• Proven experience consulting on core banking or payments transformation projects.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior business stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working autonomously.
