Strategic Key Account Manager

About the role

You will own a portfolio of high‑value merchant accounts, driving growth of existing relationships while actively hunting new partnerships. The position blends account management with strong commercial acumen, requiring you to understand merchant budgets, unlock deals, and craft custom solutions beyond standard packages.

Key responsibilities

• Grow revenue, GMV and advertising targets across your accounts through strategic planning and on‑time delivery.
• Negotiate commission rates, pitch advertising packages and secure co‑marketing budgets, building solid business cases.
• Identify whitespace opportunities, prioritize high‑potential merchants and close new partnership deals from outreach to contract.
• Design tailored proposals that align with each merchant’s budget cycle, internal targets and constraints.
• Manage end‑to‑end campaigns: pitch, launch, monitor performance, report results and use insights to secure larger commitments.
• Maintain account health by tracking issues, handling reconciliation queries and providing day‑to‑day operational support.
• Collaborate with Operations, Marketing and Business Intelligence to scale successful tactics across categories.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience in ecommerce, affiliate marketing or fast‑paced B2B sales environments.
• Proven ability to understand client budgets and create custom, value‑driven solutions.
• Commercial instinct, self‑starter attitude and ability to thrive under pressure.
• Strong communication and analytical capabilities.
• Fluent English proficiency.
