Supply Chain Materials Planner I

About the role

The Supply Chain Materials Planner I will support the data‑center supply chain operations by planning, allocating and tracking materials such as network racks, trays and other inventory items. Working in a fast‑paced environment, the planner ensures material availability aligns with operational demand and helps minimise excess or obsolete stock.

Key responsibilities

• Execute material planning for data‑center logistics, submitting requests for reallocation of network racks, trays and damaged goods.
• Manage move order requests (MOR) and coordinate with logistics, warehousing and technical teams.
• Maintain supply outlook by reviewing inventory, highlighting shortages and mitigating excess/obsolete risks.
• Analyse MRP and ERP data, prepare reports and recommend actions for optimal supply‑chain execution.
• Collaborate with procurement to monitor inventory levels and sourcing needs.
• Support material availability to meet customer demand and assist discontinuation processes.
• Facilitate weekly operations meetings, track actions and confirm vendor forecasts.
• Contribute to cost‑reduction projects, improve planning metrics and support testing of new system tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent experience.
• 0‑2 years of related experience in supply‑chain or materials planning.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, learn quickly and build internal relationships.

• Scripting for report generation (preferred)
