System Engineer – Mission‑Critical Voice & Data Systems

About the role

Motorola Solutions is seeking a System Engineer to join its multi‑disciplinary project teams in Singapore. The role focuses on designing, delivering, and supporting complex, mission‑critical voice and data communication systems for a variety of public‑safety and enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed system design to meet customer, end‑user, and operator requirements.
• Generate system documentation, equipment lists, and bill of materials using established tools and processes.
• Present technical solutions to customers, project teams, and senior management.
• Collaborate with project managers to track progress, resolve issues, and manage changes.
• Lead technical aspects of projects, overseeing design, deployment, and testing, or act as a subject‑matter expert for specific subsystems.

Required profile

• Experience working on post‑sales phases of voice and data communication projects, with the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills to validate client requirements against design specifications.
• Ability to conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with technical standards.
• Effective communication skills for presenting solutions and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
