Tax Manager – Tech‑Focused Hedge Fund (APAC)

About the role

The firm is seeking an International Tax Manager to lead the APAC tax function from Singapore. Reporting to the Global Head of Tax, you will act as the principal tax adviser for the region, providing pragmatic guidance on complex cross‑border transactions and supporting the fund’s expansion across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on transfer pricing, withholding tax, indirect taxes, and tax treaty applications across APAC jurisdictions.
• Interpret OECD guidance, local legislation and Pillar Two developments to deliver commercial tax solutions.
• Support market entry initiatives, prepare technical memoranda, and contribute to automation projects that improve tax function efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and provide hands‑on tax advice for cross‑border operating models.

Required profile

• Qualified international tax professional with 7–13 years of experience in a tech‑focused or buy‑side environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of APAC tax matters and ability to translate complex legislation into practical advice.
• Proven ability to manage tax issues across multiple jurisdictions and work autonomously.
