Technical Operations Manager

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Technical Operations Manager to lead a dedicated technical operations team within its manufacturing environment. The role is responsible for ensuring product quality, compliance with cGMP standards, and safe, efficient operations across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the technical operations team to meet quality, quantity, time, cost and safety targets.
• Provide technical, quality and safety guidance for new product introductions, cleaning process development, re‑qualification and quality investigations.
• Oversee change control activities, cleaning validations, qualifications and process performance trending.
• Act as change owner and technical approver for investigations, validation protocols, risk assessments and other technical documents.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional groups to prioritize departmental objectives and resolve issues systematically.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing technical operations in a GMP‑regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, change control, cleaning validation and process qualification.
• Ability to lead complex quality investigations and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills to develop team members.
