Technical Project Manager, Manufacturing Capabilities Deployment

About the role

Ichor Systems is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead cross‑functional programs that deploy and scale advanced manufacturing capabilities across its global sites. Based in Singapore, the TPM will oversee new product introduction, volume readiness, and operational execution, ensuring strategic alignment and site readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end technical programs for manufacturing capability deployment, including NPI and product development initiatives.
• Ensure manufacturing sites are prepared for ramp‑up through capacity modeling, equipment readiness, staffing, and process maturity.
• Oversee installation and integration of systems such as orbital welding, electropolish, and test infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Conduct 5M&E analysis (Man, Machine, Material, Method, Measurement, Environment) to assess and close readiness gaps.
• Develop and maintain Gantt charts, timelines, and resource plans to track progress and manage dependencies.
• Build business cases with cost‑benefit analysis, ROI, and strategic alignment to justify investments.
• Define operational scope, process flows, and equipment requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Prepare executive‑level summaries, dashboards, and program updates for senior leadership.
• Ensure all deployments comply with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in technical program management within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proven track record managing NPI and product development programs with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, system integration, testing, welding, and surface treatment.
• Experience with multi‑site deployments and global operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, and Jira.
• Ability to develop and maintain Gantt charts and detailed project schedules.
