Technical Project Manager – Singapore

About the role

Hudson River Trading is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join its Project Management team in Singapore. You will work closely with engineering and cross‑functional partners to shape the delivery of trading systems and drive technology initiatives forward.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with engineering teams to define deliverables, track progress, and provide status updates.
• Engage stakeholders to set priorities, communicate schedules, risks, and progress.
• Identify dependencies early, coordinate feature roll‑outs, and address gaps in larger initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project plans using tools such as Jira.
• Enhance project‑management tooling, leveraging AI to increase impact across the firm.
• Provide strategic problem‑solving and process‑improvement recommendations.
• Manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment and ensure alignment across teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing software development projects with engineering teams, preferably in finance or trading.
• Ability to assess the impact of proposed changes on systems, business processes, and the trading lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to grasp complex technical concepts.
• Excellent cross‑functional communication skills.
