Research Fellow / Senior Research Fellow (AI & Program Reasoning)

About the role

Imperial Global Singapore, the research and innovation arm of Imperial College London, is hiring (Senior) Research Fellows for its new Program Reasoning project. The role focuses on developing next‑generation AI methods that can reason about software, code, and formal systems, bridging artificial intelligence, programming languages, and formal methods.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct independent research aligned with the Program Reasoning objectives.
• Design, implement, and evaluate novel models, algorithms, tools, or benchmarks for AI‑assisted software analysis.
• Maintain reproducible records of experiments, code, and results.
• Contribute to theoretical, empirical, and collaborative aspects of the research programme.
• Promote scientific integrity, rigor, and ethical standards in all research activities.

Required profile

• Strong background in programming languages, software analysis, or formal verification.
• Experience with automated theorem proving or neuro‑symbolic AI approaches.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and publish high‑quality research.
• Motivation for interdisciplinary work at the intersection of AI and computer science.
