Training Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Training Specialist to design, deliver and continuously improve our On‑The‑Job Training system across our manufacturing sites. The role will work closely with management, engineers and operators to ensure learning initiatives align with business objectives and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the On‑The‑Job Training system in line with management goals.
• Optimize tools and resources to assign learning content accurately into the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Provide training and support to employees on LMS usage and related applications.
• Design and execute training plans, schedules and budgets to meet stakeholder needs.
• Facilitate classroom‑based, e‑learning and on‑site training sessions at Bedok and Chai Chee.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, business impact measurement and recommend improvements.
• Manage training logistics, including scheduling, material preparation and equipment coordination.
• Support audit processes, attend to requirements and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in education, human resources, engineering or a related field.
• Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment or Learning and Performance preferred.
• Hands‑on experience delivering training in cleanroom or high‑tech manufacturing environments.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable and able to work independently in a fast‑changing setting.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with engineers, technicians, operators and HR.
• Analytical mindset to measure and improve training programmes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e‑learning platforms.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Development of Power BI reports for training analytics.
• Experience managing training documentation for ISO and IATF audits.
