Vice President, Global Markets Business Finance

About the role

The Vice President will act as the finance business partner for Global Markets, overseeing accounting, reporting and forward‑looking analysis. The role supports new product development and ensures finance requirements are embedded across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Review and support new and existing Global Markets products, escalating finance‑related risks as needed.
• Serve as the single point of contact for downstream financial, regulatory and capital matters, coordinating with accounting, reporting and finance system teams.
• Participate in the full product lifecycle – requirements gathering, development, UAT and dress rehearsals – working closely with Front Office, Technology and Back Office.
• Provide timely financial performance reports and in‑depth analysis by customer segment, product and country.
• Partner with the business on strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and KPI tracking, identifying levers to achieve financial targets.
• Conduct process reviews to embed robust financial controls and advise on best practices to minimise operational risk.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• 5‑10 years of relevant banking experience, preferably with exposure to Global Markets products.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with front‑office, market risk, product control, operations and finance stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
