Account Executive – Commercial (Hunter)

About the role

Stripe is looking for a Commercial Account Executive (Hunter) to partner with high‑growth mid‑market businesses. You will help these tech‑forward, founder‑led companies modernize their financial infrastructure and unlock new revenue streams using Stripe’s full product suite.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target high‑potential eCommerce platforms for end‑to‑end Stripe implementations.
• Lead product and pricing workshops, introducing solutions such as Radar, Connect, Issuing, and Treasury.
• Design and execute outbound campaigns to open new verticals within your territory.
• Deliver compelling product walkthroughs that align Stripe capabilities with customer goals.
• Drive complex, high‑impact deals—including both net‑new acquisitions and upsells.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Solutions Architects, and Sales Ops to resolve pain points and deepen integrations.
• Provide feedback to Product and Marketing to shape roadmap and messaging.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of solution‑sales experience.
• Ability to understand complex requirements and craft custom solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving and quantitative skills, including basic financial modeling.
• Comfort operating in an ambiguous, fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for technology and fintech.
