Accountant

About the role

Esco Aster, a contract research, development and manufacturing organization in Singapore, is looking for an Accountant to join its Finance team. The role supports day‑to‑day finance operations, including audits, accounts payable and receivable, and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process accounting transactions for customers and vendors.
• Prepare and submit vendor payments for approval.
• Reconcile accounts payable and other balance‑sheet accounts as required.
• Monitor payable and petty‑cash activities.
• Collaborate with Sales to post sales orders and follow up on customer payments.
• Work with Procurement to review open purchase orders and pre‑payment schedules.
• Produce monthly AR/AP reports and management accounts, including consolidation reports.
• Perform stock counts and record inventory accounting transactions.
• Liaise with external auditors for annual audits and periodic reporting.
• Support forecasting and budgeting exercises.
• Handle ad‑hoc finance duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Proven knowledge and experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
