Accounting Manager – Controllership Focus

About the role

Binance is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with a strong controllership focus to lead financial reporting and drive finance transformation initiatives. You will combine solid technical accounting expertise with a passion for AI, automation and data‑driven solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy and scalability across the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial and management reporting, including cash flow, tax, GST, budgeting and statutory reporting.
• Prepare and review annual reports, statutory accounts and management reports.
• Perform and review revenue, balance‑sheet and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and corporate governance requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and external advisors.
• Identify and deliver opportunities to automate, simplify and transform finance processes.
• Leverage AI, GenAI, automation, data analytics and technology to improve accounting efficiency.
• Partner with Finance Systems, Data, Engineering and business teams to implement technology‑enabled finance solutions.
• Lead or support process‑improvement and finance‑transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, consulting or finance transformation.
• Strong technical accounting, analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Demonstrated interest in AI, automation and emerging finance technologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and project‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel
• Experience with ERP or financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools
• Knowledge of workflow automation platforms
