Assistant Director – M&E Project Management (Bay East Project Office)

About the role

Gardens by the Bay is seeking an Assistant Director to lead Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) project management for the Bay East Garden and its surrounding infrastructure, supporting the Founders' Memorial development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate development works of Bay East Garden and related infrastructure.
• Manage relationships with consultants, contractors, agencies and other key partners.
• Ensure seamless integration of construction contracts with the Founders' Memorial and surrounding projects.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation from inception to completion.
• Assist and project‑manage other Gardens by the Bay development projects as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Project Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized university.
• 8–10 years of experience in large‑scale, area‑wide infrastructural development projects in the public sector.
• Proven track record managing public‑private projects and partnerships.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, communication and presentation skills.
