Assistant Manager, Communications Office

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and creative communicator to support NUHS’ population health and community care initiatives. Working closely with the Senior Assistant Manager and Head of Communications, you will translate communication plans into compelling stories, visuals, and materials across digital, print, and internal platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Create clear, engaging, and audience‑friendly content such as articles, newsletters, social media posts, speeches, and presentations.
• Translate complex healthcare concepts into relatable stories for residents, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop visual and multimedia assets, including videos and infographics, in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
• Support the rollout of communication materials for population health programmes, ensuring consistent messaging, tone, and branding.
• Curate and manage content for internal platforms, staff communications, and partner engagement initiatives.
• Assist with media relations, draft media materials, monitor coverage, and help maintain digital platforms.
• Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and vendor relationships to ensure timely, high‑quality outputs.

Required profile

• Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with a knack for simplifying complex topics.
• Organised, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable across teams and stakeholders.
• At least 4 years of relevant communications experience.

Required skills

• Content creation for digital and print formats.
• Visual content development (videos, infographics).
• Familiarity with social media management and basic video production.
