In‑House SEO Specialist – Grow Organic Search

About the role

OOm is seeking a hands‑on SEO Specialist to own and grow the organic and AI‑search visibility of its own website and digital properties. You will work closely with Marketing, Content, Design and Web Development teams to turn data into actions that improve discovery across Google and emerging AI‑powered platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEO strategy for OOm’s website and digital properties.
• Conduct keyword research, search‑intent mapping, content‑gap analysis and competitor research.
• Optimize on‑page elements such as titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs and internal linking.
• Perform regular technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexation, structured data and site performance.
• Manage monthly SEO blog calendar, create briefs and optimise content for search intent and AI‑powered search.
• Monitor performance using GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs or similar tools and provide actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing or related field.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on SEO experience, either in‑house or agency.
• Good understanding of on‑page, technical, off‑page and local SEO fundamentals.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across Marketing, Content, Design and Development teams.

Required skills

• Keyword research and content optimisation tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, SE Ranking).
• Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
• Website audit and technical SEO implementation (HTML, CSS, WordPress).
• Link‑building research and backlink analysis.
• Familiarity with AI‑powered search concepts and generative engine optimisation.
