Assistant Resident Architect (A.RA)

About the role

The Assistant Resident Architect (A.RA) will lead on‑site architectural staff, ensuring construction works meet statutory codes and quality standards. This role involves close coordination with project consultants, owners, and regulatory bodies to keep projects on track.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise architectural site staff to monitor, inspect, and verify construction works as directed by CAG, QP(S), consultants, and owners.
• Interpret and enforce statutory codes, quality control procedures, and construction administration requirements.
• Coordinate site activities, foster team collaboration, and ensure accurate progress reporting.
• Analyze site conditions, resolve on‑site issues promptly, and communicate findings clearly.

Required profile

• Architectural degree recognized by the Board of Architects.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant architectural experience, including at least 3 years supervising works of similar complexity.
• Experience with roof & façade systems, architectural systems, or interior fit‑out projects is preferred.
• Strong supervision and leadership abilities.
• Awareness that A.RA staff shall not exceed 30 % of the total Resident Architect team.
