Executive, Estimation

About the role

Kingsmen is hiring an Executive, Estimation for its Contracts/Procurement team in Singapore (HQ), on a permanent basis. The role prepares tender cost estimates and documentation for construction projects while keeping them accurate and competitive.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tender cost estimates and tender documentation for construction projects
• Liaise with internal stakeholders such as project managers to gather information for estimates
• Analyse drawings, project specifications and other documents to prepare quantity take-offs and identify cost drivers and risks
• Assist in preparing tender submissions and proposals
• Maintain an updated database of cost information such as unit rates, labour and material costs
• Conduct site measurements when required and update cost plans during project development
• Manage procurement and cost control, and prepare variation order and progress claims
• Assist in finalising project accounts

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Contracts Management or a related field
• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out
• Prior experience in the interior design or renovation industry is an added advantage
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Team player with initiative, self-drive and independence
