Assistant Vice President – Front End Developer (React, TypeScript)

About the role

Citi FX Technology is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join its Options Pricing Technology team as a Front End Developer. The role focuses on building and enhancing React‑based user interfaces for electronic FX Options trading platforms, collaborating with teams across Singapore, Canada and London.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of the electronic FX Options Trading Platform, including RFQ workflow, streaming prices, volatility surface, market data management and structured product pricing workbench.
• Build high‑performance, scalable React web UIs using TypeScript.
• Implement inter‑application communication via REST, WebSocket, or middleware such as Solace, Kafka, or Tibco.
• Collaborate with global developers, quants and traders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Participate in continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, testing, profiling and telemetry.

Required profile

• Hands‑on developer with a strong front‑end background.
• Experience delivering React applications with TypeScript (Angular or Vue.js experience a plus).
• Good understanding of REST, WebSocket and middleware communication patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and application resiliency practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a globally distributed team.
