Security Consulting Practitioner – Microsoft Purview/Data Security

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Security Consulting Practitioner to advise enterprise clients on Microsoft Purview and data security solutions. The role involves delivering consulting, assessments, and project leadership to improve information protection and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Apply security best practices (NIST CSF, CIS Controls) and support regulatory compliance.
• Provide expert guidance on Microsoft Purview, data governance, information classification, and DLP, including assessments and roadmap creation.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex security projects, defining scope, managing risks, and coordinating with technical and business stakeholders.
• Conduct client workshops, technical presentations, and produce documentation such as assessments, solution designs, and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 10+ years of IT and cybersecurity experience, with strong expertise in data security, information classification, protection and DLP.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with Microsoft Purview.
• At least 5 years of leadership or client‑facing security consulting experience.
• Proven experience designing, implementing and managing enterprise security solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
