Building Technician – Expression of Interest

About the role

The Building Technician ensures the efficient operation and maintenance of all building systems, providing a safe and comfortable environment for occupants. This role involves routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire‑alarm systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire‑alarm and other building systems.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimise disruption.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.
• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs and inspections.

Required profile

• Diploma in Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant facility management or building maintenance experience.
