Client Training Specialist – Hotel Revenue Management (Mandarin)

About the role

The Client Training Specialist will deliver both face‑to‑face and remote training on the IDeaS suite of revenue‑management solutions to hotel clients worldwide. The role focuses on ensuring clients fully understand and can integrate the system into their operations, while providing ongoing support and expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clear, concise in‑person and virtual training sessions using IDeaS‑approved materials.
• Configure IDeaS systems on‑site to maximize client benefit.
• Guide hotels in embedding the solution into daily operations and culture.
• Collect and process complex client requirements in real time across diverse cultures.
• Prepare detailed status and summary reports after each assignment.
• Identify additional training needs and recommend follow‑up sessions.
• Contribute to the creation and review of training documentation.
• Provide internal training to IDeaS team members and mentor new specialists.
• Demonstrate the solution at sales events, trade shows, and client visits.
• Collaborate with instructional design and LMS teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• 5+ years of hotel revenue‑management experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Proven training or teaching experience with strong group‑facilitation skills.
• Professional or native fluency in Mandarin and business‑level English.
• Japanese proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure, solve problems quickly, and thrive in an agile team environment.

Required skills

• Experience with the IDeaS suite of revenue‑management software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Zoom for remote training.
