Concierge / Supervisor

About the role

Luxury Collection is hiring a Concierge/Supervisor in Singapore. The role handles guest requests for special arrangements and services, provides information about the property and its surroundings, and acts as a first point of contact for guest calls and messages.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange special services such as transportation, reservations and dry cleaning, or identify suitable providers, and follow up on special requests until guests are satisfied.
• Gather and summarise information about the property and local amenities, including special events and activities.
• Answer, record and process guest calls, messages, requests, questions and concerns, contacting the right departments (e.g. Bellperson, Housekeeping) to resolve issues.
• Review shift logs and daily memo books and document information in logbooks.
• Monitor the club lounge for seating availability, service, safety and guest well-being.
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to the manager, complete safety training and certifications, and comply with company policies and quality assurance standards.
• Welcome guests, assist people with disabilities, and speak clearly and professionally, including on the telephone.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance, keep proprietary information confidential and protect company assets.
• Work within the team, support colleagues and perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No related work experience or supervisory experience required.
• Able to stand, sit or walk for long periods during a shift and to lift objects of up to 10 pounds.
