Communications Specialist – ASEAN & Greater China

About the role

Join Cisco’s Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China Communications team as a Communications Specialist supporting the ASEAN and Greater China regions. You will help translate regional business goals into compelling local stories that shape market perception and drive internal engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in executing integrated communications campaigns aligned with ASEAN and Greater China business objectives, targeting employees, media, customers and partners.
• Support the development of local narratives by providing regional insights and collaborating with the APJC communications team.
• Create high‑impact content for diverse audiences, including social media posts, employee communications and media materials.
• Coordinate agency activities and track outputs against defined KPIs.
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of regional campaigns under the guidance of senior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in corporate communications, PR agencies or media‑related roles.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) for drafting and reviewing materials.
• Experience supporting communications tasks or campaign activities.
• Basic understanding of the media landscape across Southeast Asia and Greater China.
