Construction Purchaser

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Purchaser with construction experience to manage the sourcing and procurement of materials, tools and equipment for our building and renovation projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality supplies while keeping costs within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase construction, maintenance, repair, and handyman‑related materials, tools, and equipment.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices and negotiate terms with suppliers.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring on‑time delivery.
• Coordinate with project/site teams on material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Monitor stock levels and arrange timely replenishment.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new sources when needed.
• Ensure all purchases stay within allocated project budgets.
• Handle purchasing documentation such as quotations, purchase orders, and invoices.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in construction, building or renovation.
• Good knowledge of construction materials, suppliers and market pricing.
• Strong negotiation and quotation comparison abilities.
• Effective coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple purchase requests.

• Knowledge of construction materials and supplier market pricing.

• Performance‑related pay ranging from 5 % to 20 % per month.
• Medical allowance of 2 % per month.
