Corporate Relations Director, South East Asia

About the role

The Corporate Relations Director for South East Asia will shape Diageo’s policy and reputational environment across the region. Reporting to the APAC & Australia Corporate Relations Director, you will adapt and execute the global CR strategy to protect the licence to operate, drive long‑term growth and enhance the company’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the Global Corporate Relations strategy in Southeast Asian markets, aligning with local business priorities.
• Partner with the Managing Director, leadership team and functional heads to ensure relevance and impact of CR initiatives.
• Manage complex regulatory, tax and trade environments, including high‑tariff and restrictive markets.
• Oversee relationships with external stakeholders such as media, investors, government bodies, NGOs and partners.
• Support growth objectives for premium core and luxury spirits and beer, leveraging route‑to‑market advantages.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate relations, public affairs or policy within a consumer‑goods or beverage context.
• Proven ability to operate in highly regulated, culturally diverse markets.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior executive level.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering value‑creating initiatives.
