Growth Lead, SEA

About the role

OpenAI is seeking a senior Growth Lead for Southeast Asia, based in Singapore, to shape and execute growth plans for ChatGPT across acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the regional GM to define a country growth roadmap with clear hypotheses, owners, dependencies, and measurable outcomes.
• Run performance‑marketing tests, using incrementality, CAC, payback, and LTV to decide scaling.
• Design and execute rigorous experiments across onboarding, activation, repeat usage, re‑engagement, and paid conversion, measuring incremental impact.
• Own the country growth scorecard, tracking acquisition, retention, paid conversion and unit economics.
• Build and operate segmentation, lifecycle journeys, growth tooling, and experimentation capabilities for cross‑market scaling.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in product growth, growth marketing, data science or growth strategy within a fast‑moving technology company.
• Proven track record of turning local research and behavior into product and growth priorities with measurable impact.
• Strong command of acquisition, activation, retention and monetization funnels, including rigorous experimentation.
• Practical performance‑marketing experience across audience, channel, creative and measurement decisions.
• Analytical fluency in cohort analysis, growth economics, incrementality, LTV, CAC and payback.
