Cybersecurity Manager

About the role

The Hour Glass is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Manager to lead its security and data protection programmes. You will work closely with the Digital Technology Services team, the Data Protection Officer and business stakeholders to ensure a resilient, compliant technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage enterprise security tools, investigate threats and lead incident response.
• Drive vulnerability management, patching and risk mitigation across systems and applications.
• Lead penetration testing, security assessments and compliance audits, including PDPA and Cyber Trust Mark certification.
• Champion cybersecurity awareness through phishing simulations, training and reporting.
• Partner with the DPO on privacy governance, impact assessments and policy development.
• Manage third‑party security risk and contribute to the Group’s long‑term security roadmap.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or related field.
• Proven experience leading security operations, incident response and governance initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management and data‑protection regulations such as PDPA.
• Experience coordinating penetration testing, security audits and compliance programmes.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
