Deputy Project Manager – Hospitality Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Deputy Project Manager to lead hospitality and building projects for an established construction and development firm in Singapore. The role oversees projects from construction through completion, ensuring quality, safety and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of hospitality/building projects from construction to handover.
• Manage project teams, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to meet project targets.
• Oversee site progress, construction activities, quality and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants and authorities to resolve technical and site issues.
• Monitor schedules, manpower, resources and overall progress to ensure timely completion.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements and technical submissions.
• Manage budgets, variations, procurement and cost‑related matters.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and statutory requirements.
• Identify project risks and implement solutions to minimise delays.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders and provide regular updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in building/construction projects.
• Proven experience managing projects from planning through completion.
• Experience in hospitality, hotel, commercial, residential or large‑scale building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, project coordination and contract administration.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced project environment.
