Direct Electronic Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are expanding and seeking a Direct Electronic Procurement Specialist to manage and optimise the procurement of electrical components and systems. The role works closely with R&D, product development, manufacturing and quality teams to ensure timely, cost‑effective acquisition of high‑quality materials.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) commercial and operational activities to meet delivery, cost and quality targets.
• Implement best‑in‑class sourcing and lean manufacturing practices to achieve cost reductions.
• Expedite component suppliers and manage material shortages to support on‑time delivery.
• Resolve and de‑escalate procurement issues, driving continuous improvements.
• Collaborate independently with global cross‑functional teams to achieve procurement goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 6–8 years of experience in EMS/contract manufacturing, manufacturing operations, or planning/purchasing/sourcing management.
• Strong knowledge of EMS/CM management, manufacturing processes, demand/supply planning and logistics.
• Comprehensive understanding of the electronics electrical component category.
