Director of Human Resources – Lifestyle Hotel

About the role

The Director of Human Resources will join the executive committee of Hotel Stripes Singapore China Square, Autograph Collection and report directly to the General Manager. This senior leader will shape HR strategy, drive talent acquisition, succession planning and performance management for a 304‑room lifestyle hotel in Singapore’s Chinatown.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with property and brand objectives.
• Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning and succession initiatives across the hotel.
• Oversee performance management, employee engagement surveys and related actions.
• Coordinate human capital reviews, assess leadership pipelines and drive diversity strategies.
• Utilize HR technology and data to improve processes and support business goals.
• Coach and develop managers and staff to foster a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with at least 4 years relevant experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years experience.
• Proven experience in HR generalist functions within hospitality or similar fast‑paced environments.
• Strong understanding of talent management, succession planning and employee engagement.
• Ability to work independently and influence senior leadership.
