Director, Social Responsibility – APAC & China

About the role

The LEGO Group is seeking a Director of Social Responsibility for the APAC region and China. You will shape and execute a multi‑year CSR strategy that drives meaningful social impact while reinforcing the brand’s relevance and long‑term value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the APAC & China Social Responsibility strategy aligned with global priorities and regional business goals.
• Lead a diverse regional portfolio covering community engagement, strategic partnerships, global programme activation and place‑based initiatives.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams (commercial, brand, communications, government affairs, HR, manufacturing, retail) to position CSR as a strategic business enabler.
• Build and maintain relationships with NGOs, governments, academia and social enterprises across the region.
• Identify emerging societal trends, policy developments and innovation opportunities to inform both business strategy and social impact.
• Ensure effective governance, impact measurement, portfolio prioritisation and resource allocation.
• Foster collaboration with Americas and EMEA leads to share capabilities and achieve scalability.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing regional team and represent LEGO externally as a trusted CSR leader.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in corporate social responsibility or related fields.
• Strong track record of developing and executing regional CSR strategies.
• Ability to work closely with multiple internal functions and external partners.
• Deep understanding of APAC and China market dynamics and stakeholder ecosystems.
• Excellent governance, impact measurement and resource management skills.
